MAKEUP LOOK - crazy blue leopard! __MakeuPanda

Soo.. This evening I got a bit experiemntal with my makeup! I do this every now and then when I'm either bored or feeling creative! I know it's mental, that's the point, I'm not likely to wear this out to college or town ahaha... Also, hair deperately needs doing! Ignore roots! :D
My impression of what some girls' eyebrows are looking like right now! (Just kidding ;)) ahahaha don't get it personally.. but each to their own!
Showing off my Barry M crackly nails :) (review and how-to here)

The lashes are by Eyelure and are called Tokyo Strip Eyelashes Style I'm Yuko.. and here's a piccy..
And I used a mixture of eyeshadows from different brands.. some Mac in there, and some Sleek I think.. :)
Like this look :-) ?
Any requests for future make-up looks?

WISHLIST - OCC liptars __MakeuPanda

I want some of these so much!
They are on my wishlist!

My favourites are these colours:
(The descriptions are by OCC)
Pageant - BEAUTY QUEEN PINK/FUSCHIA
Stalker - TRUE, CLASSIC, PIN-UP BLUE-BASED RED
Katricia - CREAMY, RICH VIOLET

They look stunning :) The only thing stopping me ordering the lot is that they work out about £8 a piece which I know isn't extortionate but it's not THAT affordable... Plus shipping from America... Maybe one day! I will not give up on these babies! <3
Has anyone tried these?

REVIEW - amazing makeup wipes!!! ___MakeuPanda

Tesco Sensitive Cleansing Wipes!
They are moisturising enough for my combination skin, and they have the one thing I always look for in make-up wipes... They are always moist! I hate a scratchy, dry wipe.. Nothing worse to drag across your lids after a day of makeup!
The best part is the price! I think they were around 22p a pack! For 25 wipes.
They remove my makeup nicely, unless I'm wearing really heavy eyeliner and such, in which case I always use an oil-based remover anyway..
Compared to brands such as Simple and Garnier, they seem a steal (Alright, they may not be quite as good for your skin).
So.. I thought I would share!
Has anyone else found any other bargain beauty wipes?
Would love to hear about them!

ALSO, thought i would add to this...
A tip for more moist wipes... Always store your makeup wipes with the opening down on the surface you're storing them on.. This way the bottom one (aka the one you'll be using next) is always moist!
Yay!

REVIEW + MAKEUP LOOK - using Sleek's Acid palette __MakeuPanda

I have got most of the Sleek 'i-Divine' palettes, I have collected them since they first retailed, however long ago.  I wanted to try the 'Acid' eyeshadow palette and my mum kindly picked one up for me from Superdrug (I think it was).

The colours swatch just like they look in the palette! (But I prefer my Mac Carbon for an intense black)
I used the neon pink, the black (and my Mac carbon because I found the Sleek one a bit.. I dunno, not intense!!) and the white..
My eyebrows look awful! Excuse them.. need tidying!

It retails at £6.49, which is fantastic value for money,m however I think the 'i-Divine' palettes have gone up in price since they first retailed, I'm sure they were more like £4.99... Not that I'm complaining! It's still a great beauty bargain, at around 55p an eyeshadow! (There is 1.1g of product in a single shadow)
The pink is this bright in real life as well!
Love it!

NOTD - Barry M crackle polish __MakeuPanda

I recently bought Barry M's new crackle nail polish (Instant Effects) in no. 311. It's called Black Magic.
I've seen plenty of reviews talking about how great it is and I've seen it on a few girls around college.
I purchased it from Boots along with the Hologram Hexograms (np244) in a 2 for £5 offer which I thought was great.
I layered it over a bright blue I got from Primark, of all the places to buy nail polish...
(It's much brighter in real life, I had to use the camera on my BlackBerry, and you can't see the contrast very much, but I assure you it looks good!)
I used OPI's base coat first, then two coats of Primark's nail polish (which I actually quite like, after 2 coats)
And then I applied the crackle nail polish. It clearly says to NOT OVERLAP so I tried my best to get even coverage with one application.. After about 3 seconds you can see the crackle effect taking place...
A close up of my results...
I have to apologise for my messy nail-painting, I'm yet to become perfect at this :/, it washes off your skin anyway :)
I really like the effect and for the price I think it's a great buy! Next I'm thinking of trying it with a bright orange for an animal-print effect... hopefully!

Has anyone else tried this polish yet? Did it work well for you?

MAKEUP LOOK - Marie Claire __MakeuPanda

I did this look a few days ago when I saw this picture in the newest issue of Marie Claire magazine.
(Sorry it's the wrong way round, still getting the hang of this blogging stuff)
So some minutes and a few mucky brushes later, I had this:
This is my interpretation of the look, it's not perfectly the same, as I assume I used totally different products.
I used mostly Mac products (White eyeliner, turquoise liquidlast liner, acid green eyeshadow, which is Mac's Bitter), but the dark bronze colour and the green i layered under the acid green, were Sleek. I think the silver pigment on the inner corner was was an Urban Decay pigment, which I've had for yonks.

Hope you like this look!

MAKEUP LOOKS: A COLLECTION __MakeuPanda

Some of these are really old, but I thought I'd make a collection of some of the makeup looks I've done over the past few years. And yes, some are crazy.
Bronze/brown look.
 Gothic look
Inspired by a picture from google
If only the lips were less smudgy
Inspired by Katy Perry - One of the Boys Album cover
 80's theme
 Queen of hearts make-up
 Black and white
 Hiya Barbie.
 A natural look
 HAHAHA! Avatar! Not for everyday.
Inspired by Lady gaga's huge eyes in the video for Bad Romance
Excuse the bad lyrical editing, this is very old, and put here for makeup only
A yellow cut-crease look, which I believe was based on MonroeMisfit's tutorial which can be found here.
Again, excuse the editing. Based on Geisha makeup
Crazy eyelashes from Stargazer or a similar make.

Which is your favourite?
Would you like me to recreate a look?

MAKEUP LOOK: FOTD - Today's make up- My first post! __MakeuPanda

A modern twist on classic pin-up make up.

I did the eyes very similar to ClassicRetroGlamour's youtube video seen here.

and then did pink matte lips, using Girl About Town by MAC with Barry M's dazzle dust pigment in Neon Pink patted over the top to create a matte look.
Hope you like!
